I sold my 1969 quite a few years ago, [ I know DUMB ] but at the time it had to be. Any way I am looking for a 1997 only because that is the year I retired. I would like to know where would be a good place to look for classic INSURANCE. On my 69 it was with a company in I think Virginia but I do not remember the name. No matter I live in SW Florida so if anyone could give me some ideas I would appreciate it.

A 1997 is probably new enough to get insurance from a "normal" insurance company. Hagarty's is reasonable if you must go the "collector" car route. They have my '39 Chevy.

Well the 1997 I was looking at out the door was $8357.. sounds good enough but doing some reading on Carfax this car has had a lot of problems and issues. The odometer was replaced at 150,000 and right now the dealer says it has 58,521. I was going to go look at it but after all that I told him I was not interested and felt it was not worth what he was asking for it with the problems and odometer reading. I wanted a turn key ride not another project like my 69 was. So I will still look.

You want a 2001+ car. The earlier ones have some parts that can't be replaced.
