You bought this knowing the engine was bad? If so what were your plans for it? At this point sounds like you should put a good used engine in it, 1k sounds a little high for this job. What is it worth fixed?

Having been in the used car biz for 15 years. I can say with complete confidence that any 2007 vehicle (with the possible exception of a Chrysler or Kia product) that looks good, drives well, no cigarette smell inside, has cold a/c with a decent set of brakes and tires is a BARGAIN for anything less than $2300.

If you're ALL IN with a good used motor, this is.

so with a good eng. and all you say will it be worth about $3,500, I don't plan on selling it once I get a motor in it...I plan on driving it..I drove it home and air and everything else is good

If trans is good, body is good, and unibody is straight I would go for it.
Worth it
