anyone with experience installing 1993 chevrolet 4x4 factory aluminum 16" wheels on 1972 K5 blazer (front disc, of course). i had the centers machined out using original 15'' factory steel wheel as pattern, plus machined out extra 1/64".
rear wheel installed with no problem but something(probably original '72 caliper) is keeping fronts from fitting.
does anyone know if there is a slimmer/thinner caliper that will work? 2 pins/bolts that hold calipers in position are 7" center to center on originals. Ecklers LMC Trucks

Welcome to Chevy Talk from West Michigan!

Hopefully you get the information that you need. I don't know of a caliper like you are looking for but I wonder if CPP can help you?

They are a Chevy Talk sponsor and there is a forum
on Chevy Talk where you may want to post the question.

Here is a link to CPP,

Maybe I'm missing something here but I have 15" wheels on my truck with out any clearance issues. On my old 78 c10 I put 15" rally wheels on it and had to use a thin spacer on the front. Have you tried using a set of the thin spacers to see if that helps?

I am "Assuming" that Luv is correct...the rim you are using probably has more (or less) off-set and a sspacer might do it for you.

How much room do you need? Ecklers LMC Trucks
