They did try the local pick and pull in Dallas, which is where the the nephew is located. No joy.

After I posted here, I thought about it (duh) and tried RockAuto and Google (Google is yore friend!) :-)
Found new Dorman parts for the mid $140s. Better than GM, which wants $250 +/- according to my son in law.
Anyway, we should be good. I really appreciate your kind words and assistance. I'm not trolling for sympathy but if you'd like to see the story, I set up a site for Casey and his service animal:
