How can I unhook the under hood light do I can leave the hood open for car shows. Yes I know I can take the bulb out but I'm looking for the disconnect connection. Thanks

If I remember correctly the bulbs time out after so many minutes.

Try this: replace it with an LED bulb and it won't use enough battery power to matter.

I realize this may not answer your question, but if you just want the light to be off with the hood raised, you could pull the fuse.
