I have completely rebuilt my 3 speed transmission with Borg Warner R10 overdrive and realized it's missing the Governor Gear. Overdrive won't work correctly without, so the search is on. Do you have a spare? Even if its the whole Governor assembly?
Thanks in advance

You are presently in the 1949-54 classified ads forum. In case you are not already aware of this, GM did not offer an OD transmission until 1955. To further complicate matters, GM used different governors over the years which are not physically interchangeable.

Please post the letter appearing after "R10" on your OD housing. Once you do that, I will ask the moderator to move this thread to the most appropriate forum for your particular unit.

I found your duplicate posts in both the 55-57 and 58-60 classified forums and have asked the moderator to delete this thread.
