First of all I would like to say a big thank you to all contributors to Chevy Talk as I don't think my project would have been possible without it, as these beautiful old girls are scarce as hens teeth here in Australia. I am now in my 4th year of the build & can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I am up to fitting the windlace & was hoping someone has some photos of them installed. Like all my interior I have purchased my windace from Ciadella Interiors.
Also as my Bel Air arrived fully stripped & with a new fire wall welded to the original one I am unsure what hole is used for the vent cables. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Kingy

Welcome aboard, Kingy. That's a beautiful job on your car. I can't begin to imagine the challenges you faced in resurrecting a car which is so far away from its birthplace.
Unfortunately, I can't offer any help with your vent cable or windlace questions, but we have some very knowledgeable people in the 49-54 forum, so you might want to ask there:

I'm not 100% sure if the Bel Air was done differently, but the vent cable on my Business Coupe for the right side vent goes through the firewall in the right side of the indent for the engine...that portion of the firewall that protrudes under the dash board. I believe that the cable for the left vent goes through right above the vent hole itself. BTW, your BA looks very nice....looks as though the person behind the spray gun know what they were doing.

Just to reinforce what I said above; the right vent cable exits the interior via the hole in the photo, travels through the cowl brace [if you look closely you can see hole below the cable at the same level of the exit hole] and then to the rod on the vent. The left cable goes through the hole indicated and has a clamp [not pictured] to hold it in place. I don't want to clutter up your build thread with my photos, but I hope this helps on the vent cables anyway.

That is a great help thank you
I thought the control arm was positioned on the side not the top. A picture certainly tells a thousand words.

I can post a couple more of my Fleetline. It has all of the clips, grommets and everything still in place. Its a little more grungy though.

Here you go. Fairly unmolested so it is what's supposed to be at the left and right vents including the grommets in the fire wall.
