Trying to finish up Tom Jones last car, he passed away before he could get her done. We live in and around Springfield MO. Some of you may have bought parts from him

That's a coincidence as My Edsel came from Steelville Missouri even though it was an ex movie lot car.

Hi Keith, these are images of the "Thickstun" for chevy 216,235,261. They used the sleeves on the 216 for the sizing issue.
It's hard to tell if this is an original or a repo as you can buy new ones. They are quite a complex casting and used some innovative thinking but it didn't actually work that well in practice.
The end convolutes are actually a toric chamber and the hole in the center goes right through creating two intersecting and competing pathways for the inlet charge.
There were later refined versions of this on some V8 aftermarket manifolds but it was never cheap to make and not any more effective so has died out.
Still very cute and period though and you got to love those fins.

Also the heat sink only fits the later factory manifold, not the early, as there is a bolt spacing difference

Cheers kiwi

Beware of some of these only have to bolts, so little more difficult to add Langston's hot water heat plate underneath

The bolt pattern for the heat passage in the center is different between 216 and 235. You may have to drill your cover plate to match whatever is on the manifold.

Ahhh - "Twin H" - yes, you are absolutely right. I couldn't figure out the logo until you gave me a kick start.

Hi 3Rd Elke, That's actually accountant's, for Engineers its' their autism.
The Hornet twin air cleaners are a great style match for the shapes of the Thicktun manifold.
I real tight package.

Hi 3rdElke, No offenhauser heads for chevy six. Do you mean cast cocker cover, as that is common.
Cast heads were done decades ago as a 12 port crossflow by Wayne manufacturing. Generally about $20,000.00 a set now for real ones. Very few Chevy ones done. Most were for the GMC. They may be being repoed now but they are not really a street head anyway.
