How many 19660 long box step sides were made in the U.S.
I've found numbers for step sides but not a breakdown as to long/short box. I bought a 66 Long Box step side from Washington state. The seller told me he got it in California. The lack of significant rust seems to bear that out. It came with a 235 and automatic. Ecklers

No idea but I've seen plenty over the years, if that means anything at all. Have owned a couple as well; 1961 Chevy long step, and 1964 GMC long step.

One part of me wants them to be common as dirt...when it comes to ordering parts. The other part of me wants it to be rare as chicken lips, for bragging rights. I'll have to invent a story. Did you know that this truck was once own buy the Swedish chef from the Sesame Street Muppets?

Thx for the reply.
