Suggestions on buckets that fit a '58 just right. Newer cars seats are skinny or sit to high to use the tracks that come with them. Has anyone used the new replacement buckets sold for mid '60's Impalas in a '58?

I thought my Procar Lowbacks sat a little high, but I think they fit the car well. The tracks work fine that came with them. Just had to fab the mounts...the universal mounts weren't going to work very well. By "skinny", do you mean the bolstering makes them narrow? True, but I'm 5'9" 185, so they work great. I looked at some 65 Impala seats, and they look ok, just liked these better.

I like the look of the 64 Impala SS buckets they fit the style and the wrap around chrome trim kind of fits with the stainless that's used on the Impala Sport Coupe. If you are using stock material call Gina at Ciadellas and I am sure she can make 64 covers using 58 Material. I would not use anything with headrests as they were really used during the x frame era.
