Hey guys, have a '69 Nova. Car originally came with the deluxe lower side moldings and rocker moldings. Previous owner removed the skinny moldings just above the rocker moldings, now I want to put them back on. Does anybody have a part number or source to buy the plastic clips used to mount these ? I have pictures of them, but can't find a place to buy them and/or part numbers.

Here is a picture of the clips that somebody sent to me:

Thanks for your help

I see you're from Erie. I lived in Warren County up until 2 years ago. I had enough of the snow.

We haven't had much this year, most of January was pretty mild, and the last couple of weekends we've had record highs in the mid 70s. I'm not missing the cold or snow this winter.

If YearOne doesn't have what you need, there is also classicindustries. I don't know if you've checked there yet, but from what I have seen you can basically build a whole Nova from there.

I've searched everywhere I could think of, YearOne seems to be the only ones to have anything. I will have to give them a shot and see what I get.

Thanks for your help guys

I ordered the clip set from YearOne along with the moldings, which are on backorder. The clips showed up today and they aren't the right ones like the factory used. They are a push in type clip instead of the plastic clips that go onto the studs. Does anybody have any sources for the plastic type clips ? Without the molding being here I don't know exactly what size clip I need to look for.

Any help appreciated

Finished putting the moldings on today. I found an old post on a Nova site from a guy who listed some clips he used. I ended up using the same clips he did, which were for a '71 Mopar for the fender, door, and front quarter pieces. The pieces behind the rear tires I used GM wheel opening molding clips. Also used a metal clip on the front of each door with a stud and nut from the backside. The car looks like it should now with all the moldings it originally came with.
