Need help figuring out why the interior lights don't come on when the doors are opened.

There's a feature that came with the 95 that previous models don't have. Please forgive the seemingly obvious question, but did you happen to accidentally press the interior lights off switch button right under the rotary light switch?

Oh, and by the way, welcome to ChevyTalk. You can reply to your own posts or anyone else's by clicking the reply button in the lower right corner of the response window next to the other comments or the quick reply at the bottom of the thread.

It means the lights are off. Push it again and they should come back on.

That is exactly what mine looks like and the lights don't come on.

Ok, then it's possibly both door switches or the master switch. Do the lights come on just using the dimmer?

Then I'd replace the door switches.

Ok they're relatively cheap. One question, if they still stop the reminder buzz when they are pushed in,can they still be blown?

Before you replace any door switches, disconnect the wire from one of them. Now ground the wire. If the lamp doesn't light, replacing the switch won't do you any good.

How should I ground the wire?

Just touch it to the dash ground by the ALDL plug.
