I bought aftermarket ss gauges for 66-67 chevelle. the battery guage instructions says to hook up one terminal to the horn relay with a 16 guage wire and the other terminal to the battery post of the starter. I have a new style fuse panel with the horn relay as part of the fuse panel. my question is where do I hook up the wire that was originally hooked up to the horn relay? thank you wayne

Wayne, I really couldn't say. I take it it has an ammeter, not a voltmeter? Ammeters are not a good thing, that is why we tell you throughout that instructions for the Classic update kit, not to use an ammeter. The kit will not support an ammeter generally speaking. That instruction set they are giving you is based on hooking up the gauge so that it goes along the charge path that they are describing. When you change that path, the gauge may not read properly. You would have to contact the Mfr. to get their thoughts sir. Sorry, but I do not know how their part is designed internally.
