I am rewiring my car. I bought a harness from you.my question is where do the wires run for the neutral safety switch? Whoever wired it before had it zip toyed to the E brake cable then up to the firewall and through a hole in it,by the old fuse box.....I believe this is wrong..isn't there supposed to be a hole in the floorboard for it to come through? I would appreciate any help..I have a highway plus from you.

I thought you had a Classic Update kit? Is the car an automatic or a 4 speed? automatic never left the car. the NSS was on the shifter in the console (SS) or at the base of the steering column (standard Impala)

Your right I do have classic update. IT's a automatic, the NSS is on the shifter next to the trani...my question is where is the wiring supposed to run through the floor?

It's not. The original wiring never left the car. The NSS was on the shifter in the console, inside the car. If you have a trans with the NSS outside of the car on the trans, it's not original, so you can run the wires out of the car wherever you please.

Thanks Donny, yeah it's on the transmission..was just trying to run the wires as close to the stock locations as I can..everything is installed except turn signal wires..a little confusing...and I am still waiting to receive the correct ignigtion switch. The one that was in the kit was incorrect..would not work with my tumbler..

I really love your harness setup.I am starting to believe My kit was cannabloized on the shelf..this is the second thing missing from it..and the ignigtion switch was wrong..please advise..do I have to call in for this also?
Thanks for your help..I appreciate it..

It's in the bag with the fuses and flashers Dave. It's a little black cube. Doesn't look like the original at all. What was wrong with the ignition switch? I can assure you that once those kits are packed, we don't cannibalize anything from them.

There is only one switch that we have for them, and your tumbler should have worked. What does the end on your tumbler look like? I long oval, or a D?

Hi Donny, the tumble is a flat piece on the end,the switch would have to accept it...the one that was in the kit will accept it,but it there is nothing inside for it to grab on to. It won't turn it..All the packages were sealed...I just called in and spoke to Craig..he is sending me a relay..thanks
