Thought I would share my 180 day gasser build.
I found this '52 Delux out in a field for $500. The car was pretty solid and straight, very little rust. No engine or trans, no interior.
Weather was nice, so I was in shop and out of shop while building it. Install a Speedway Straight axle with disc brake and cross steer, Installed a ford 9" "n" locker with 3:73 gears, HO Made ladder bars and coil overs with disc brake, so it is a four wheel disc brake set up, non power.
I had a Speed Shop out of Texas build a full roller 383 stroker for it. Then I built a TH350 with trans brake, revers valve body and 3500 stall.
So story short and 180 days latter with 20K plus invested, I have one heck of a bad hot rod to play with,,, Here's a few photos,,, Dad

Hi dad great project. What else can a man do when the original motor and interior are gone. I have attached a photo of Gene Schwartz's Gasser. I think of it as the spiritual father of all 49- 52 gassers.
Cheers kiwi
