Been a crazy year. Finally back on working on my 50. Patch panels are goin in. Bought a chev 350 crate motor with a slight build. Turbo 350 trans. Now looking for rear end. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Blazer 4x4 are the easiest to find. I have a 94 Blazer 4x4 rear end in my 54. You will have to move the spring perches out to fit the springs.

Tri-five is probably the easiest to install, but these are getting scarce and/or pricey. 75-79 Novas are good alternative. These are actually the same as equivalent gen Camaros, but usually cost less if the seller doesn't know that they fit.
If you don't mind welding the spring seats, you can use S-10/Blazer rears, but make sure they are from a 4WD. Also, if you don't mind welding, you can use 58-64 full-size Chevy rears. These have the advantage of a drop-out carrier like the tri-five.

Thanks you guys, good info. I have the option of welding and also am looking at bolt-in suspension kits. Just in the process of making the decision of which way to go. There is some 10 bolt and 12 bolt posi rear ends out there as an option. I don't want to have to get too creative with the installation of my rear end though. At moment like the look of the stock wheels so no need to go short with axles. Something with the same geometry will be fine. Chevy 350/ turbo 350 running gear so don't want to go crazy with the gear ratio. Just something that's a nice drive on the highway as well as around town.

I have a mild 355 with a TH 400 and 3:23 gears. Runs about 2800 RPM at 65 MPH. I also have a Posi, 94 $X$ Blazer rear end.
