I'm working on the front suspension of my 61 Biscayne. I had purchased a center link from Eckler's last year for it. It's a 605 conversion with the manual type center link. I noticed that on the new one the end that connects to the idler arm is angled a lot towards the front of the car. The old one doesn't have much of an angle at all. So is the new one a problem, the old one bent or is it nothing to worry about? I should mention that all the pictures I've seen of new center links look like the new one I got, making me wonder if my original is bent. Thanks!
Dave

The more I look at pictures on the net of new ones and original ones, it seems my original is bent. Thanks.

Bluefire,
Is there anyway you can send me some pictures? Thanks.

Well I got it in OK. I think my old one was just bent and that caused me to question the new one. Someone on the 61-64 forums suggested I post here. Thanks for your attention. All is well.
