We've made a change to the default display skin template.
We've done this as an attempt to make the site more user friendly on mobile devices.

You can return the setting to the previous display or others from our skin collection if you wish. The previous skin is named "chevytalk". You can make the adjustment by clicking on "My ChevyTalk" (upper left button bar" and then following the graphic below.

We would enjoy any feedback you might have on this decision. This will be the default that all new members see when they visit for the first time.

If you are having problems setting your skins up please post here and we'll be glad to get you some help.

I thought something was up with the site ... LOL!

This new default is interesting ... going to let it stay this way for a while ... just to "test drive" it. Might change it back at some point.

I'll try the new skin. One change I made was to downsize the entire page. The pages do load faster!!

Us old guys aren't to fond of changes, so I changed mine back. But when new people sign on they won't know the difference so shouldn't be a problem for them.

A while back I signed on to a different forum (not car related) The format was kind of like this new bright gaudy pages. I don't know if it could have been changed to something different or not, but it was uncomfortable to use so after a couple of weeks I just got tired of the gaudiness and seldom go there any more. I hope that doesn't happen to new people coming on to this forum. I think it would have been better to leave it the way it was, and have the option for those who needed it to be more user friendly for mobile devices to change it for thier needs. I changed mine back too. This new page was too hard on my eyes and just plain irritating to look at.

It was my thought / hope to rid myself of the color orange, hurts my eyes, much like the days of the RED/ORANGE Pontiac speedo dials.

If this is possible to rid my computer of the color orange, I am missing the boat, as to how to do it.

Help, please.

A quick peak shows you're already looking at the ChevyTalk skin. What orange are you talking about?

Go to "My ChevyTalk". Click on "Control Panel".
Go down to "Display Settings". Go to "User Skin". Scroll down to "Cobalt". Cobalt should get ride of all the orange.

I set mine to "chevytalk" and it took it back to the original one. Thanks for the size question.

All the words were orange on my screen. Gone now, after following gchemist instructions.

Thanks for the offer, Keith. Would like to chat with you anyway, at some time.

Gchemist and his instructions got rid of all the orange wording.

When I first saw the "new skin" I thought WTH but did not initially read this post. Now that I found it, and realize that I can go back to the "way it was," I find that I'm good with the new skin and will likely stick with it (and I am sort of an OEM kind of guy). Don
