"Assuming" my chassis is around a 1919 model and possibly a 490 series, what would the proper tire size be? How do I measure the rims to be sure? I had the old worn out tires and think I remember they were 30 x 3 1/2. Does that sound correct?

If your rim measures 23 inches It would use a 30X31/2 Tire. Check with the Vintage Chevrolet chat site to be sure.
