I currently have an ECI booster setup on my 56 Nomad. My questions is, can I change out the booster to a hydro boost and use the same master cylinder and proportioning valve? I drove a 57 with hydroboost and really like the pedal feel. I currently have too much travel in the pedal. The brakes work good but the pedal goes down farther then I like. Thank you for the help.

Our CPP Hydra-stop units require the use of an 1-1/8" bore size master cylinder. If you have that great it will work. If your master is a 1" bore you must also buy a new, proper sized master.

The master cylinder I have is a corvette master cylinder. I guess I'll have to call ECI and find out what size it is. Thanks.

I found out I have a 1 inch bore master cylinder. Looks like it won't work with the booster. Thanks for your help.
