Wondering if anyone has pics of installing and connecting the SS RPM Tach.?

My stock tach hasn't worked in a long time and before removing it from the column, I thought I'd see before pics of where the wires are being connected to, for the sake of reference.

Thanking everyone in advance

I'm a bit curious, you said it's a stock tach mounted on the column on your 63. 61s and 62s had factory column mounted tachs but 63s, like the 64s had their factory tachs mounted to the dash directly above the column.

So, if your 63 truly has a column mounted tach, it's not stock/factory. That said, these and after market tachs typically had 3 wires, 4 if you count the instrument light. A + pos battery, a - neg ground, and a a wire that connected to the distributor side of the coil.

If you have a modern HEI ingnition, they have a "tach" terminal to use.

Do you know which wires go where on the tach?
Thanks

I'm still trying to figure out what tach you have... one like was pictured in Richards link or a column mounted tach?

So, so sorry for the delayed response. My Tach of course, is located on the dash, exactly as Richard's image he linked to.
