Hi guys, had to double post this thread as the motor is worthy of it!

Came across this in Super Chevy, it's Ed Bedore’s ’65 Nova that has a blown, twin turbo’d big-block with juice and a custom carb setup

What, no jet engine? LOL

So what is the point other than total overload?
Who is Ed Bedore and why does he do things like that?

If I remember correctly, that car has been around for a long time. It belonged to Rick Dobberton who also had a pro-street Pontiac J-2000 that had no rear suspension and the body done funny-car style. He was at the forefront of the Pro-street scene. I remember the write up. I think it took street machine of the year honors way back when. The author said he was taken for a mercifully short ride in it. It may be overkill, but apparently it works.
Edit: I clicked on the link after I posted and saw that I was remembering correctly.

Looking at the pic, the air scoop over the engine must be sealed.
So the turbos are compressing air then going direct to the superchager (without going through a heat exchanger to cool the air ) where the compressed air is then getting further compressed.
I wonder what his boost level is at??? 50 psi
In-efficent maybe, but it is cool.
