What would give the most Hp
Ported heads & cam change or 383 stroker kit?
My combo is
1985 S10 Blazer
Weight with driver 3180lbs
350
750 Proform
Edelbrock air grap intake
Gasket matched
Edelbrock RPM heads
1 1/2 shorty headers
Isky 288 cam
Dur @ .50 244 / 244
Lift .450 / .450
1.6 rockers
350 trans
4000 stall
4.10 gears
27" tires
My best is 12.05 @ 111mph

off the top of my head i would go with a bigger cam and maybe some bigger fenderwell headers.

Stroker kit and cam change will get you where you want to be. The heads will do well, no need to have them ported. Just get the right camshaft for those heads now and you can always stroke later. The extra cubic inches will give you that much more horsepower.
350 x 1.3 = 455
383 x 1.3 = 498
43hp gain in stroking. 1.3 is a variable number. It was just used to show you a difference in numbers. If you're @ 1.5hp per cubic inch, you'd see a gain of 50hp gain.
You'll see the most of your gains in the camshaft swap.
