I am trying to get all the parts I know I am going to need for my Jag front end install rounded up before I get started so I dont tie up the rack waiting on parts. I need the part number of the fitting to convert from the Jag rubber line to the cars existing metal brake line and where is the best place to get the parts to connect the column to the rack. Thanks in advance Scott

Scott, the guy you need to talk to is 53chevy, He did the swap and did a great job. He has it posted on here but I can't remember what the name of the thread is. He knows every part you need and documented it with great pictures too. I will try to find his post and let you know.
Which Jag are you going to use?

I found that post yesterday and have read it cover to cover. I tried to contact 53chevy about the adapters have not heard from him yet. Dont think he has been on since I attempted. I am pretty sure the front end is a series II from what info I have. The guy I am getting it from said he pulled it about 6 or 7 years ago for a 37 plymouth sedan delivery and has decided he will never get it done so he is selling front end and rear end. It is about 2 1/2 hours away from me and my buddy has a doc appointment where it is friday so he is gonna pick it up for me. I have been studying edelmann web site and catalog and I may have the numbers figured out I will find out tomorrow when I go the parts house. Thanks Scott

His father passed away friday, and he has been pretty busy. Did you pm him, he will get notified when you do. Any way, he is a great guy and will help you anyway he can.
Which numbers do you need I may have them. I have the hoses and adapters in the garage waiting to start my conversion. The hoses I have for the front are Brake Best BH38546. I can't find the adapters right now.

I sent private topic not sure how to pm or that may be it. Sorry to hear of his fathers passing will send out prayers. I ordered 84 jag xj6 front rubber lines they have the same 10 x 1.0 bubble thread on each end I also ordered an adapter I thought was gonna work but need another to go with it I think. The lines are layin on the counter at the parts house but I wanted to get it all at the same time and pay once. Thanks for your help. Scott

Scott, I found the adapters, I have them screwed onto the lines. Therefore I don't have the numbers, I guess I threw away the bags they were in. I will look thru my paper work to see if I have a record.

Got the part number delima solved the union is edelmann 276000 and the adapter to make that connect to the metal line is 271300. Thanks for all the help. The front end will arrive tomorrow makes me want to pull an all nighter to get it under the car and rolling I still have to either get another column or make the factory connect to the jag and gonna need the coupler to connect to the rack. Thanks Scott
