I have a 1991 k2500 with a 4l80e trans. Intermittently it will stick in second gear & not shift. Not even manually. I pull over & shut off the engine for about a minute, restart & it shifts perfectly. I changed all 3 solenoids, both speed sensors & throttle position sensor. Trans is not worn out. I feel this is an electronic input problem. Please someone help!

The next time it does it, pull the codes and let's see what's going on.

It's going into limp mode for some reason.
