It's been nearly 3 years since my last post. My how the time flies ... the '64 hasn't gone through many changes in that time, but my property sure has! It's finally come time to give her a proper home up here in NH. I'm doing all the work myself with friends and family, so it's taking awhile, but it's coming along. Here's a few pics ...

Thanks guys ... glad to be back!
A few specs on the new garage ...
28 deep
36 wide
2 bays have 10'6" ceilings with large walk-in attic above
1 bay is cathedral (for you know what! ) - 15' at the center
No electrical, insulation or heating this year ... but really soon!

Looking good, all that up front planning will pay huge dividends.
And in regards to the lift, buy it ASAP. I waited until I was almost 50 years old to get my Rotary 2 post lift. Without a doubt, best thing I have ever bought. My back now tells me I should have bought it when I was 20!

The latest ... doors, gutters, shutters and trim to go.
Please ignore the two FORDS in the picture ...

Looks great! Some day I will have something similar I hope. Have you thought about putting some cement out front so you can sit and drink beer in the sun on a cool day?

I have thought about it, but for budgetary reasons I will take that $2K, buy a lot of beer and sit in a chair in the dirt!

Last post on this thread ... promise.
A little trim around the doors and some gutters and I'm done.

I made one bay with a cathedral ceiling and high lift door. That was a good challenge.

My mechanics.

All I can say is Wow! Nicely done. I really like the last pic with the two very intelligent looking construction supervisors . I'm sure they will spend untold hours with you in the new garage. Congratulations on a great project.
