Hi everyone just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the forum but by no means new to cars. I have a 54 210 moredoor. It has been converted to 12v all but the gas gauge and I just xompleted a t-5 install with a 56 rear diff. I am getting my jag front suspension friday. I am sure I will have a few questions here and there and as soon as I figure i out i will post a pic or two. Scott

FIreman, Welcome! Most of the work I've done on my '54 has been because of help I've got from folks on this forum. I'm sure you will be equally blessed.

Welcome to CT! I applaud you for the choice of the Jag front suspension. Jag attempted to build a race-car suspension for those XJ cars in the 1970's and early '80's, and almost succeeded. The suspensions are not difficult to rebuild, but you should have a shop do the power rack--they are a little tricky and need to be done by someone who's done them before.
Ditto on posting some pictures when you can.

Bob I started a build thread it is here http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?ti... Still have to get the steering joints. I pulled the column out of a 77 Trans Am and I dont think I am gonna use it. I have a column ordered for my moms 56 chevy it should be here by the end of the week I am gonna see if I can use her old column since it is modified for a 605 box already. It is column shift so I will have to see if I can install my collar on it or what. Sooo with all that said I have made no progress yet. As soon as I can get the joints and residual pressure valves I have the rest of the stuff together for a one day install I hope... Scott
