I have a bone stock 54 Belair that runs but can use a carburetor overhaul. I am not too concerned about keeping it original.

Is there a carb from a later model vehicle that is a direct bolt on? An electric choke would be a plus.

Search the archives, there are or should be a bunch of posts on this question. Carter W-1 carbs are a direct exchange and were the predecessor to the Rochester. Webers can also be installed but may need some alteration.
