Hi all,
I have a 65 LHD Impala SS and a RHD 65 Bel Air donor to convert the Impala to RHD.
Are the frames the same dimensions as one option I have is to drop the 2 door body on to the RHD frame.
I am exploring this as an alternative to reproducing the steering box inset on the LHD rail to mount the RHD box.
Thanks
Andrew

Here in the states the 65-66 Impala, Belair, Biscayne, 2 door and 4 doors and wagon frames are the same. The convertibles are a little different but can be used under a hardtop or sedan.

I am using an Ossie '68 Impala 4 door frame to put under my LHD '68 Impala fastback. The fastback frame was ruined when originally converted to RHD in 1968. I haven't made the switch yet, but I believed everything would fit OK. Jim
