Whats up guys, ok so today i ran my truck out of fuel.

(because fuel guage doesnt work).
So i added about 6 gallons. now at all threwout the RPM range the motor will go,then fall on its face then go ect ect. even at WOT the thing bairly will move. now its only happening about 70% of the time. i just did a full tune up to the ignition system.. i cant figure out what els it would be? possibly bad fuel pump or an injector is going? any help is apprichiated!

Running them out of fuel is pretty rough on the pump; it can often push a marginal pump over the edge and kill it. Throw a pressure gauge on there and you'll probably see it reading low. You may need to run one with an extension hose so you can drive it around and watch the pressure while the problem is happening...just be careful with your connections and routing so you don't have any leaks.

Cool, thank you. I have a brand new pump i jus wana figure out if thatt is wat it is for sure... also is the sending unit for my fuel guage on the pump its self? my fuel guage stays at half a tank an moves up an down as i break, and excelerate..

The pump clamps into the sender. If you're seeing excess movement of the gauge when braking/accelerating, then it's possible the baffle tray inside the tank is broken or loose. It's a plastic tray a couple inches deep that keeps a reserve of fuel around the intake area of the pump so that it doesn't starve under maneuvering, it also serves to keep the float arm on the sender from moving around too much.
