I do not think the throttle linkage lever that's on firewall of my '55 Belair is set right. When I hook up the trans kick down rod, the whole linkage assembly jams up when I depress the gas pedal. Does the throttle linkage lever have to be set at a certain angle before the kick down rod will work right? I can't seem to find a happy medium. Oh, it's a 265 with cast iron Powerglide.
