Does anyone know how to track down a specific car? We purchased the car new in 1955 and sold it in 1959. we still have the original paperwork.

Description: 1955 Chevy 210 Delray Club Coupe
Serial # B55N146292
Motor # 0470861T55

I appreciate any guidance

Welcome to CT... you might tell us a little more about the car like colors, where in the country the car was during your ownership. Did it disappear after 1959, or did you see it occasionally until...?

Any clues to the puzzle may be helpful.

OK, Vermilion, SD... any car clubs in or near Vermilion? Someone may remember the car, etc.

What is SDakota's rules around doing a VIN search? Might still be there...

C. blue probably is Cashmere Blue, a light opaque (non-metallic) blue.

Being a DelRay, it is a bit unusual, so that may have helped keep it alive, unless it was wrecked or something catastrophic like that.

Good luck in your search.

I know Eckler's has a new section for their Chevy Classics magazine that is dedicated to people looking for thier previosly owned cars. You might want to check it out.
