hi, i'm converting my bench seat car to buckets and i have a few questions. first i know that the bench seat had a cable that ran under the seat to release and engage the pass side track when moving the seat. but there wasn't a mechanism on either bucket seat to connect and lock the inside track to the outer track. are the inner tracks supposed to float free? also i'm not sure where the tension springs mount on the track and frame. the tension springs are a bit rusty does anyone reproduce them? i would like to get new ones. and last but not least i am missing one of the brackets that hook the top of the seat back cover does anyone make those? thanks for your help.
im on a highway to hell

Yes, sometime around then they decided they weren't necessary so they saved a few pennies (so they could start charging more for them) Don't know about the springs and hook. Might find a suitable spring at the hardware store in their spring assortments.
