Yes, five days ago I traded my loaded 2012 victory red 2LT with a black stripe. I now have a 2013 red candy mustang premium with the pony package. I'm not about to bash the camaro because I did enjoy mine a lot. Even now I feel camaros look better than mustangs. They're more beastly, more aggressive looking. Where my camaro failed, in my opinion was the fun factor. My camaro became a chore to drive. It wasn't easy to get in and out of and it wasn't easy to steer and it wasn't easy to see the enviroment around me. It was huge and heavy. I had to fight the size and weight when I drove.
The mustang is the complete opposite. Its smaller, lighter, steers far better, rides a bit better (at least as good as my camaro did) and its very easy to get in and out of but doesn't look beastly or aggressive. However its fun to drive.
You'll do two things most of your life without exception. You'll walk and drive. Considering driving is so important and such a fundamental activity of everyday life shouldn't the car you drive be fun to you?
I'm posting this because I'd like for those who wondered if I got my vibration issue resolved to know I no longer have the car and also to let tricia, the chevy rep, read the reasons why I gave it up. She could relate to her superiors my information that, along with complaints from others, could help shape the next incarnation of the camaro. Hey nobody cares what I say, I'm not important but if thousands of other people are saying similar things then that could a problem. That is why, I assume, changes were made with the 2012 camaro. People complained, chevy listened and changes were made.
My vibration issue was never resolved. I decided the car was probably fine since it didn't occur on every road. The mustang steering wheel has not vibrated once even over those stretches of road that gave the camaro fits. Maybe its due to the smaller tires.
I really did enjoy my camaro for a time. I got lots of looks and it was funny catching people looking that were trying not to be obvious doing it. What I miss the most is the heads up display.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

As much as I like GM, I'm 6 foot and I can't see out of a Camaro, and it's really hard to fold up like lawn chair to get in and out. And for a tudoor, that's just wrong.
Lucky for me though, i also like Fords.
I wish they made Camaros with say a light grey interior. The visability is bad enough without the pitch black interior EVERYTHING.

Good luck I guess. I have seen all your posts, you gonna be able to handle putting air in the tires of your stang by yourself or will you have Midas do that again for you?

^^^^ Me too- I'm 6 foot, 230 lbs and have no problem driving my Camaro SS. In 4 years and 26,000 miles I've driven through 16 States plus Canada with nothing but pure enjoyment. Mustang or any other car- No thanks.
