Found this item online...think it's pretty cool, something I've never seen before on any impala, in the pictures it looks like a 64 is on the package...anyone know about these, are they worth the money?

Fender guides can only be used in conjunction with a lighted swan on the hood, red Jeweled mud flaps, curb feelers and dingle berries around the windows.

Dingle Balls. Dingle berries are something altogether different; are of biological origin and not manufactured.

Smoove, this is a straight-laced crowd in here these days. They don't understand lowrider stuff.

It never was intended to be used as such.... at least not back in the days when it was a new item and being offered to help locate the front corner of vehicles from the drivers seat.
More of a safety apparatus than anything.

I just won't ask for opinions regarding accessories anymore...at the end of the day it's not like we (in this case I'm guessing the lowrider enthausiasts) didn't design, nor fabricate the item(s) but simply take interest in them.

Smoove, illegitimi non carborundum. Some of these dudes have no idea what zoot suit or pachuco cars are. Some of us do and don't make ignorant remarks about niches of the car world. Ask whatever you want. I love doing slam dunks on buttheads.
Nope, I don't think the lowriders invented the fender guides. They were very common back in the 40s and 50s on plain Aunt Jane cars.
Here is one link to buy the guides:

Smoove,
Whether I'm into low riders or not, I am always eager to read about the ideas of others. Don't stop writing or asking. Everyone and every car is welcome here.
