So i have a line on a rear end from a 69 camaro for the fleetline. I believe the rear will fit width wise. Does anyone know if the camaro rear will take my stock rims / tires as far as lugs etc.? what would be good gear ratio to run with th350 trans?

The wheel bolt pattern is the same, 4 3/4" pattern. Butch/56sedandelivery.

I installed a 68 Firebird rear ( same as Camaro ) in a 1950 Chevy I owned many years ago, fit well, but did replace the existing perches with 1 3/4" perches, so as to fit the factory springs better.
I would think a 3:08 rear would work nicely with a turbo tranny, but remember, you will need a $300 adapter to bolt the turbo to the 235.

Think what you were reading was in referrence to stick shift. 235 to turbo 350 = adapter.
