Just thought I would share some crappy pics of a really nice 66 caprice at our local car cruise from last night. I don't see too many Caprices fixed up, never mind in the same small town I live in.

Fiberglass hood, but it looked really nice with the hump:

Tracked the owner down and had a nice chat with him. He just bought the shell a year ago and just wrapped up the resto-mod. 427 crate motor, interior was nice, car was pretty straight. He lives less then a mile from me! Funny how you can go forever without seeing a nice Cap and then find out there's another one in your backyard.

I am not a fan of Yellow cars except the American Graffiti Coupe but that car is bad to the bone. A graphite color would look killer.

WoW Jeff,
I'm gonna have to drive my '65 down there for your cruise night ! I love that '66... it makes me want to restore my Denise before I finish my '66 Impala SS 'Vert.
That's a picture of Denise.

Jeff,
I'll agree with you, you're no Ansel Adams, but... The first picture you took is amazing, everything is out of focus, except the car ! That wall & the deuce made a great background, and you can see the driver and his friends/family perfectly. You should send it to the owner of that beautiful caprice... it would make a great picture in an album or a screensaver...
Nice work my friend

hehe, well to tell you the truth, my dad took the last few and the light was getting dark enough that the image quality was getting a little iffy. =) I'll let him know you said his artistic vision sucks. BTW, that's my blurry mug in the last pic.
Funny thing is, that first pic I snapped on my DroidX. I thought it would be crap but it actually turned out nice.
