Time to get seatbelts for my 64...one of these days it will be driveable. I see belt lengths of 60 inches and/or 74 inches. Anybody got experience with the 60's being long enough? These would be for the front...and maybe the difference is front vs back..i dun know?
Thanks

Dave,

I really don't know as my Biscayne does not have any seat belts.

But..... I think the 74" ones may be are for those that have a Homer Simpson type of belly.

I have an original belt that I have not yet had restored, and it measures 64" at max length.

74" go in the front, 60" in the back.

The original belt I measured at 64" was a front belt complete with the rubber boots to cover the bolts. I think they just offer the 74" for todays more portly drivers

I need to work out the best length for the rear belts so I can have the original sets I have restored as back seat belts. I think they will be shorter than the front belts.

I think the 74" ones are also more generic to include truck applications...but thanks for all the replies.
