Need help tryng to find the fender fillers that go behind the headlamp panels on a 61 impala. I call them fillers. I don't know the correct name for them. These panels usually rust out and are hard to find. Thanks for help.

Are they 61 only, or will a 62 be the same?

The grills and headlight configurations are completly different between the 61 and 62. Front fenders are different as well because of the way the sheet metal fits the headlights.

Right, the '62 is actually very different as it went to a new type of rounded "independant" wheel well, in comparison to the '61.
Those '61 Fender Fillers are pretty hard to find and are kind of pricey when you can find them. The last time I had a good set was about 20 years ago.
For those not familiar with them, they are the small sheet metal pieces that go in-between the Radiator Support and the Fender, behind the Headlight Assembly.

There is a guy on eBay that sells repops. I went through the trouble to rebuild mine, got them done, painted them and then found the eBay ones. The're not cheap however.

wow, i had no idea they repopped them. i searched for a couple of years and found 1 nos and 2 in mint condition. got them for $275 bucks. they continued to become more scarce and i was able to sell my 2 originals that needed quite a bit of work and the spare mint one for close to what i paid for the others.
