I am premature in my posting, as I have not had a chance to really look anything over, or even search the interwebs for an answer, but I have been crazy busy with work this month.

Twice in the last month, after accelerating on a left turn, I had a BAD rhythmical clunking from the rear end. It felt like the wheel was about to fall off. The clunk pattern or strength did not change when I shifted into neutral.

Each time, the symptom started at the beginning of a bridge, so I had no choice but to let it continue until I got to the other side. Each time, when I slowed and pulled over, it got worse as the brakes were applied and continued until I was at a full stop. After verifying that nothing on the exterior was visibly out of alignment or bent, I started going again and she drove fine.

I have what appears to possibly be differential fluid leaking slowly from the rear left wheel. At first (over a year ago) I thought it was brake fluid but the brake fluid isn't going down and I forgot about it until this.

Short of pulling the axles, is there anyway to verify that it is an axle? I would gladly do it, but I'm so short staffed that I'm stuck working the desk half the time and can't go around looking like a grease monkey

It sounds like you shelled the spacer that spaces the balls in the axle bearing. That usually puncyutrs the seal on the bearing and you get leak. RW607NR is the bearing number.
