I've looked through several old posts and links, and I can't seem to find how the Horn Ring on my 48 is supposed to go together. I think I have all the parts, but truly not sure. Anyone have a diagram or some pictures of what I should see when I pull the wheel apart? I have ordered the rubber contact mat and grommets from chevysofthe40s, but I don't know if I have everything. The previous owner had wired a horn button mounted under the dash after they broke off a screw in the old horn ring. I removed the broken off screw and have since reassembled the horn ring assembly based on an uneducated guess. Someone tell me how this thing works, and please post a few pics if you have a 48 I can see.
There are two ways to see life... the way where every challenge is an opportunity... or where every opportunity becomes a challenge.

9-5 and 9-6 shows the adjustments.
But if the two screws under the cap are too tight - no horn.
Too loose - the horn will blow when you least expect it and may not stop.
