What is the best way to remove the fuel tank on my '57 sedan. I know the line, sending unit wire, and the 2 straps, but I am wondering about the filler neck. Should I just pull it out of the tank by the o ring, or remove the whole neck still connected? Thanks again guys!

If you can get the filler neck to come loose in the car then I go that way, gives you an excuse to replace the O-ring also.

I think it would be wise to replace the O ring while you have the tank out, however I installed a new tank and O ring on my 57 and now I am fitting a big gas leak.
