Hard, I would say 59, 61 & 63. I think if I really had to choose it'd be 63.

dude i hate to ask but wheres your head at..ha ha you can't realy run a test voteing by guys that just own 1958 to 1960 chevy .for the most there going to pick what they own year. you need to ask all chevy owners in each yr. section on here for a test.

I bet all those 6 thousand posts are myths lol...dam...wing drag stories ,and wreck yard car stories..59 and 66 bottom of the list ya rite pal!! Read this and weep.59 is the first ever impala period hate on that not me.its the best design hands down, have u ever took the time guys I mean all u,take 10 minutes per picture u see 58 threw 72 ,take time to realize the craft, the lines, the chromes, stance, grill design,on every year.do it and u will notice the 58 is boxed up mini roof, little back window like a bel air, check a 59 wow u will notice a thing a beauty.really.they took so much time in the creation on that new poster car to represent the future lineup what they did was make a car no other impala can match one year stand alone (TRUE) IMPALA .no bel air .here's my view like it or hate it...58 I mentioned,59 can't mess with,60 real clean design more simple and rounder body, clean lines rather then sharp 63 lines if u KNOW what I mean,61 is funky ,drag strip ride ,small and bubble top kills it,not everybody likes a bubble top belive me.hardly mentioned.62 is nice in ss black inside, clean lines bit if u look at it from panoramic view of the whole driver side poster shot it leans to much certain ways ..cool but can't top 59,63 has hard cuts front and sides and back rear,u either love it hate it period.its a tuff design really.but can't bump a 59 of the table.64 is everywhere ..over 100 something thousand made or more ,not to rare can't compete, plain look ,boxed effect for a cleaner look I guess, one long chrome for ss with turned aluminum, and in the rear make it sweet but can't knock a 59 .65 is considered a fastback impala its a coupe fastback can't compair, real sport coupe impala 59 vs fastbacks na.that means 66 has zero chance I will admit Chevrolet designers in the late 60's were losing options in design belive me u COULD tell everywhere on that year.they rushed it out maybe didn't put a lot of thought into the craft, the extra should we go with this, should we go with that got rushed.flaw design plain rear ,boring rear to say truthfully.front is weaker also.chromes on it what's chromes the ones under the fenders and one thin chrome running the side of the car, and one plain mini rocker chrome boring..67 has cool cuts but it has never gotten love for sum reason, don't like it can't knock a 59.so were off to the 68 u kidding me 68 ,no comment bypass sorry 68 owners ,69 is awful design really,I think the original designers of the famous years left mid 60's that's why the cars fell off the impact meter..70 and so on were the last straws for the lineup, cars sold but they were not beautys, rare designs, classic one of a kind looks are when impalas got introduced, after 64 its a wrap.but I think u hate 59 and 66 cuz u bash the real deal.makes no sense where's your head at ..I don't think your a real Chevy (IMPALA) guy like me, u mite just like old chevys ..

I like the '59 simply because it has one smooth continuous front to back flowing line of design. Not interrupted with angular moldings etc. - And of course, what little boy doesn't like rockets? - My second most favorite is the 1965 fastback SS model.

Color-wise, I am partial to red with red interior or white exterior with red interior. I love the white '59s with red in the accent area on the rear quarter panel. A red on red '65 SS just pops.

They were not designed for factory mirror on passenger side. You have to relocate mirrors to fender, if you want them to match, and be able to see anything except the garage door out of the passenger side mirror. I had a passenger side mirror installed on my 59 and it's useless, except for looks.

I have never found an after market vent window accessories that will work on the 59, except for the factory accessory, which is nothing more than a vertical, chrome extension of the wind wing. It's almost impossible to tell if it's installed unless you are up close or the wing is open...and I have only seen one set in 50 years.

I know I am Bias, but you cannot beat poetry in motion, little attitude with the fins, yet slick enough to pull if off. nobody will ever convince me different, but I guess that's why we all have our own tastes, mine just happens to be the light blue 59 matchbox car that won me over as a child, I could only play with it in my parents bed at bedtime, I knew it was special then, today it's still hands down, nothing is even close.
