Hi need some help. My 78 1/2 ton 350 small block, just stopped running. I replaced the battery, the alt is good, starter is good, and I replaced the ignition switch. The truck will not even turn over. It acts like the battery is still dead. Please help. Just bought the truck.

Yes I do. Th dash lights up. But when I crank the motor over, the small negative wire starts to burn.

What small negative wire? If you are talking about the secondary ground from the negative cable at the battery end, make sure the other end of the main negative cable is not corroded and is fastened securely to the engine block.
