Hey Guys,
Since none of the service manuals have any good pages on the Holley 4150, I was wondering if any of you have good info on working on one.
I removed the bowls to clean them out, but I think I might have adjusted the needles incorrectly when I put everything back together.
Thanks,
Greg

I assume you are meaning the idle mixture screws on the front metering block. If so, you can turn them in until they stop (not too tight - you'll damage them) and then back them out 1-1/8 turns.
This will give you a starting position. After the car is running at idle, simply turn them individually for highest idle speed. If the speed goes too high, unscrew the throttle stop a little. Keep adjusting them alternating on both sides until there is no more increase in idle speed.
Then set the throttle stop for the correct idle (probably around 7-800 rpm).

Leon, thanks for the manual!
Greg, after you do the initial check, do the adjustment in Figure 15 - Float level in bowl.
You can buy little clear plastic plugs that you can screw in to keep gasoline from spilling out.
Make sure you have a friend that can shut off the engine, keep a wet rag handy, and a fire extinguisher just in case the fuel spills out of the observation hole.
