I have a 2007 Avalanche with 210,000 miles. When engine is cold it has 15-25 psig oil pressure. Sometimes I get a warning to shut off engine. When the engine warms up, I have 30-50 psig. I have replaced oil sending unit and a screen beneath oil sending unit. I was recently told to replace O-ring between oil pickup tube and oil pump. Engine runs good and does not use oil.

That's backwards. Normal is for the oil pressure to drop a bit when the oil warms up.
My 09 idles at 20 psi hot (or a little less) and goes down the the road at 40-45 psi hot. Not a lot more cold, maybe 5 psi.

I agree with Rick, something very odd going on. Have you tried a simple filter change? I wouldn't think the O-ring would be a problem unles you had either really eratic pressure or really low pressure all the time.
