I'm finally adding color! I never thought I'd be at this stage. I've been using Omni Products all along an at $689 a gallon for just the PPG DBC alone, I wasn't going to change now. I got the sealer, a gallon and a quart of base, and my clear for under $600. The clear is actually Nexa brand which is PPG's European brand. I've thing everything came out great. Here's a few pics

Looking fantastic!!!

I only wish I'd been smart enough to remove my door latches before painting... Just didn't know better...

I've been thinking about trying to tape them off and then use a dremel to try to sand off the paint... Something tells me this wouldn't be a bright idea, and that I'd end up causing more problems....lol...

My ignorance on my first build...

Forgive me, but I can't recall if you're going with Madeira Maroon or Regal Red? It looks a lot like mine...

Steve,
If you have not yet installed your door panels then removing the door latches is fairly simple. just a couple rod clips and the 3 attachement screws. Once removed you can clean off the paint and remove the old grease. It will work way better with new grease. Be sure to use a impact driver to remove the screws if they have been there for a while.
