So I finally dumped the money for an Ididit column , now need to wire it and im friggin lost. Have a 52 styline deluxe, v8 . Theres this plug hanging out of the column and i found the schematic for it. So do i splice this in or is there a harness that i need to buy? I will also mention that im converting to 12 volt too.ive read all about that and seems pretty straight forward. Any help on the column would be appreciated. Thanks

You can get a wiring connector plug kit for the Ididit column from several places. Jegs, Summit, American Autowire, etc. I got mine from YNZ which did the new harness for my '50. Call them first and tell them your specifics and they will help you. You will have to make a change or two, but it's easy and you can do it if you can read a simple schematic. The plug fits right up.

If your converting to 12 volts are you using an aftermarket wiring harness?

I know the EZ wiring harness comes with the column plugs and the ends are already attached the the column wires in the harness.
