Im new at this i found out about this site from a old diehard anyway Ive got a 73 gmc sierra grand 2500 4x4 cant drive it because of no brake power ive bleed them to the point of putting a new bottle in i push on the pedal and get a his as if air is leaking out inside the cab im not real knowlagdeable about things of the truck i feel that if i replace the brake booster it will stop the hissing and give me the ability to be able to drive my truck um the question is will it fix my brake problem or do i have other problems

Welcome to the site. It's nice to an first model square running on the road. Bonus points for being 4X4.

If you hear hissing, the brake boost diaphram is probably broken.

If you are getting no power assist (pedal is overly hard) - then the power booster is at fault.
If the pedal goes to the floor, the master cylinder is bad. Replace it.

i never even gave the master cylynder a second thought um ok with the truck running i pump it and still down to the floor with it off it feels mushy but holds ok anyway just wanted to say thankyou
