On my 1959 El Camino with 235 engine and manual trans, there's a condenser on the voltage regulator. Anyone know if that's the same condenser used inside of the distributor? If not, anyone have the Chevrolet or Delco-Remy part number?

The condensor on the regulator is only for radio noise suppression. The distributor condensor will work but is not as effective as the correct one. You can get a universal non-delco one here: .... Link: Near bottom of page.
